In 2018, the archeological research was carried out in Dainavos str. plot 5 by archaeologist Vytautas Vingis. A total of 65 graves were found in the area of 1560 m2, with 111 individuals buried. Part of the graves consist of group burials, i.e. 2-6 individuals lying next to each other or on top of each other. The dead are buried in coffins, in supine body position, heads oriented in W or NE directions.

The absolute majority of the buried are male individuals (Fig. 1). Two probable female were found and no non-adult individuals were determinded. One third of all dead men are young people aged 20-29 age individuals, also, a number of males belonged to 18-20 years age group (Fig. 2).
